Mauko is a Siberian artist, musician, and singer. After a fortuitous encounter with a used mini synthesizer toy, Mauko became inspired to create her own world of cosmic space pop, deep from within the tundra of Mother Russia. Writing prolifically, releasing a swathe of electro-inspired music on Bandcamp, Mauko’s released her first album back in 2016. With a plethora of DIY collaborations under her belt, UFO serves as the first official digital release for Mauko. A dubbed indie dance drifting chip hit, with lo-fi drums pedaling hard against Europa synths beneath the soaring alien chant “People Don't Believe in UFO.” An irresistible electro - breaks chugger, freshly served directly from the Russian Federation. A unique developing territory, where freedom to express one's voice through the medium of art is not a societal given.


‘Over the years of creativity, I have formed a clear feeling that, while creating music or art, I directly communicate with the art itself, as with a certain creature. This "creature" shows me many things, which I then try to figure out. I preserve the listener's feeling of communication with art, immersing them in various atmospheres and states. I feel responsible for being able to “listen” to art and “translate” from its language into the language of human art. An irresistible desire to learn something new from "another universe." Recorded in one singular day the basis of the elements of the album are further explored and extended into a full-length journey using early precious recordings. Each journey unlocks a memory box of melodic emotion. For the first time introducing a vocal pallet to the magical world of Space Whisper, Margo Sanda heralds pure beauty across Bocca, revealing audio silences that summon the listener to follow Space Whisper out into the swamp.

Laid across emotive sound pallets of synthesis the album follows footings to unchartered ancient lands. Melodic ambient and at points classical in its approach, like its predecessor's utilities cycles of surreal repetition, calming waves of discordance that heighten the senses. Layers of harmony are often shunned by sharp textures glistening in the lake. A beautiful third album that captures free-falling performances coupled with intentional sound design taking us further into the Space Whisper underworld.

Info on Wilson is pretty scarce but we know he currently resides in Dangriga on the coast of Belize, suffice to say, the single speaks for itself. ‘Invisible Boy’ whisks an elegant blend of downtempo pop, soul, and electronics, as hypnotic synths combine with waves of feel-good, woozy summery vibes.

A newly formed act ​ae inc.​ deliver the first in a strongly lit series of sensual recordings. Lying somewhere between the world of ebm and performance pop. ​ae inc.​ find vulnerability not as weakness, but as strength. Delivering a very promising first release Krystina harbours a sense of sexuality, that commands the attention of the listener to move through its evocative dark disco.

Krystina tells the tale of one performer who takes charge of liberation, through the ownership of performance on stage. A male vocal calls relentlessly upon a brut disco backdrop of synthesis, sailing high the chorus chanting all the while “Cold Blooded Nights” setting fire to the dancefloor.

Little is known about ​ae inc.​ formed by songwriter, producer David Sanderson aka David Harks - this new act a first step towards a more curated organism, and less centric around his Harks Moniker, who feels as comfortable penning tracks for Eskimo Recordings with hit Northern Lights, as he does cutting Finnish slo disco pop “Susta” with Paul “Mudd” Murphy out on brit tastemaker Leng Recordings, (psychemagik, 40 Thieves, earthboogie) this past summer.

This first release is made upon an established set of songwriters, producers and visual artists, brought together to make up ​ae inc.​ Collectively this outing hits hard with its strut like effect and playful trance smoothness. The artwork is provided by Rovaneche, a little known artist​ w​ ith a firm hand upon abstraction within his illustration. Rovaneche’s visual artwork lends voyeurism to the listener to imagine watching Krystina dance all night long.

Andis Ansons and Julijs Raimonds Melngailis are Bel Tempo. An Indie Dance act with one foot firmly in dusty electronic beat making and the other in soft anthemic storytelling. Bel Tempo pen songs that linger in our heads as the days seem to drift on by. “Guide Me Through” is the act's latest offering one described as “The blinding grief of having your heart broken.” Raising the pertinent question, should we abandon our feelings and memories of those who have made a conscious decision to leave their loved ones? Or should we forgive and cherish those moments no matter how hard they may be to hang onto.

Bel Tempo chose love and that we should try to forgive and remain mindful of our feelings and past loved ones. Especially during difficult times such as now. A song driven by a sliding guitar riff that wanders purposefully across the fretboard, this single is a blissful follow up to last years “If You Want.” Considering the choices for the audience to ponder over, the lyrics of the song stand as a hymn for the listener to focus upon. Repeating a simple message of strength, coupled with a reflective beat driving the very heart of the song.

Choosing topics that suit our everyday life it is plain to see Bel Tempo’s voice is one of empathy for a generation of new music listeners across the Baltics.
