Amity is a multi award winning, critically acclaimed 18yr old artist, who has the ongoing backing of The Royal Albert Hall following a year as their official Future Maker Artist 23-4. 

Dubbed an “artist of our time” by ASBO magazine, Amity is autistic, trans and queer. The challenges of his journey are reflected in his outspoken and gritty work where he is unafraid to to speak up, ask big questions and challenge dogma. Amity’s music career started in 2022 when lockdown led to a mental health crisis. Amity turned to his music to cope; in fact it saved him. Unable to re-enter the classroom after lockdown-isolation left him with debilitating difficulties, his meteoric trajectory since his first public performance at an open mic event in 2022 has been life changing

Within weeks of his first performance, Amity’s music had already been the subject of an article in The Guardian, describing Amity as uniting “miraculous” vocals with “dense surreal lyricism”, kick starting his rapid rise that took him to the Royal Albert Hall in under a year. Now he wants his music to bring as much healing to others as it brings him.

Amity’s genre-fluid sound moves effortlessly from pop noir to piano ballad to indie to funk, taking his audience on an emotionally rich and musically-textured journey, all the while grabbing attention with his powerhouse vocals, engaging persona & gritty outspoken lyrics. The past two years have seen Amity featured in ASBO magazine as 'one to watch', countless radio appearances including BBC interviews, winning an RBE Musical Excellence Award & his live sets were well received on the festival circuit, notably including The Great Escape & Brighton Pride, with sold-out solo shows from Camden’s Green Note to Durham Fringe.
