The question asked in this discourse was how to stay happy all the time?

On the question of staying happy all the time, in reality, this is impossible. A person with a stable mind cannot stay happy all the time. When you are not happy, do not feel bad about it. Tell yourself that it is okay. This is one of those moments where I am not happy, No Problem. This is not the first time I am feeling unhappy, and this shall pass as well. 

Happiness is either in the hope or in those thoughts in which we visualize getting the thing that we
want to get and feel happy about that. We basically feel happy only when everything goes according to our wishes. But that happiness is also for a very short time. In fact, the most depressed people I have seen are the ones who are well-off from every aspect of their life. Because they have no reason to have any sorrow. That is why they don't know how to stay happy. if there are no sorrows or
adverse situations in life, if there are no challenges in life then life is not worth living. If there are no problems left to solve then life itself becomes a problem. When there is no burden to carry in life,
then life becomes a burden.

Can you always be happy - [Hindi]

The question asked in the discourse was - What is destiny vs. how much of it do we control karma. 

Destiny is not something that can be proven. When someone is hit with a brick in their head, they look around and question why this happened to them. On the contrary, if someone gets a million dollars, no one questions why they got it. But when we go through a tough time, that's when we question if it is destiny or what did I do in my life to deserve something like this. The truth is, anything can happen to anyone. It doesn't matter how good your karma or how sound your destiny is. One must always work in life believing in karma; destiny can only play a role if you become a worthy recipient. 

When something doesn't happen in our life, where do we look for answers? Do we look for answers in things we don't control, in which case we will end up blaming someone or something else. Or should we look for answers within? In fact, that is the whole journey of awakening, that we look within for all our answers. When we do this, chances are that we realize somewhere we are responsible for the issues we face.
