@hasvat-informant returns to Amniote Editions under his Intellagama alias with the Reciprocate EP. The HbF capsule sees the Naarm (Melbourne) based producer implant a fusion of sonic explorations; tender wandering synths, washes of twitching percussion, layered aerial textures and pulsing rhythms merge together to full visceral effect.

Heliobolus (@spekkiwebu) and @eastern-distributor feature on the remix tip to dizzying effect, with delicate cuts that build into deep, palpitating odysseys.

The HbF capsule will be unleashed in full force on the 23rd Feb alongside a run of limited edition caps with spiral embroidery designed by Copenhagen based design studio Alexis Mark. The caps will be available for purchase via Proton Records, more info to follow.

As Amniote Editions proudly celebrates its 5th anniversary, the label is excited to unveil 'HoxV-2: Spekki Webu x Heliobolus - Phylogenetic Analysis,' the debut LP from long-time friend and collaborator, @spekkiwebu, also known as Heliobolus. This 11-track project, shaped by a full year of meticulous studio experimentation, represents a bold exploration of sound, merging experimental techno with cinematic elements. “This is a journey of intertwined storylines, akin to parallel universes that connect and diverge.” Spekki explains.

At the heart of Phylogenetic Analysis lies the narrative of Heliobolus, a story of continuous evolution across different lifetimes, where Spekki Webu finds himself trapped in a cycle of spiritual searching and physical transformation. Drawing inspiration from science fiction, the artist crafts a dual narrative between tracks that oscillates between the spiritual and the surreal. Spekki tells us: ”The track ‘White Room’ is inspired by an intense psychedelic experience where his perception was wiped out for the endurance of a lifecycle, while ‘Forest Hunter’ delves into a recurring nightmare of being pursued in the woods. Later in life, I revisited these woods in a psilocybin session.” This gives just a peek into the kafkaesque corridors of Spekkis’s mind, leaving lingering questions for the listener for the rest of the release.

This LP not only embodies Spekki's artistic evolution in between alter egos - but also reflects the essence of Amniote Editions' five-year journey of curating forward-thinking electronic music. With influences ranging from 90s Dutch Goa to tribal rhythms, Spekki infuses a groove and funkiness throughout the album, balancing dance floor energy with cinematic sound design. 'HoxV-2: Spekki Webu x Heliobolus - Phylogenetic Analysis' is a testament to both the artist’s and the label's commitment to pushing boundaries, making this release a landmark moment in their shared history.

Positive Education Festival quickly imposed itself in the front row of French best festivals for obscure electronic acts and djs, bringing together iconic international artists and a lot of talented locals, in the industrial town of Saint Etienne. To step even further, they recently launched their label ‘Worst Records’, celebrating today its 3rd release with Christian Coiffure, a quality codeine-EBM journey, strongly acid infused… Hell of a trip. For the seventh release of the Worst collection, our infamous A Strange Wedding takes a deep turn on the great unknown. Keeping in mind the « ritual » and « cosmic » adjectives often associated with his music, he built a mystical artifact fallen from the skies, quite literally indeed. « Black Magic Rituals » is a wizzard’s book full of smart spells to open the space and time continuum.
Whether it is made of shimmering stratospheric soundscapes or built in between constellations of the inner world, A Strange Wedding goes beyond his own forms to explore half-step industrial leftfield dub as well as mental driven deep techno in the style of italian masters. Oscillating from far distances to intimate odes to infinity, this crystal maze of sharp music stands as a usefull toolbox for total mind liiberation, and marks a step even forward into’s A Strange Wedding sonic journey.
