 Being deeply inspired by Marco Mental’s work and feeling a strong connection to his artistic choices—whether through his curation of the Seed stage at MoDem Festival, his selections in his sets, or the outstanding releases on his label Visionary Mind Records—it was only natural to invite him to launch his own series on Abyssaï.
With this new project, Marco will curate carefully selected podcast episodes, featuring exclusive guests who bring their own unique touch. We’re thrilled to present the first episode, where he welcomes Mintaka, a talented DJ and selector from Budapest, for a mesmerizing journey infused with tribal rhythms and bass-driven soundscapes.
We’re also delighted to collaborate with our dear friend Zaviello, a photographer with a unique eye whose work we instantly fell in love with. Each episode will be accompanied by a new photograph, adding a visual dimension to this sonic journey.

This is a closing set on the Re:birth Midnight Experimental floor at Osukinidouzo Open-air Free Rave Party in Japan.

Through slambient that pulses like the earth, glitch that slices the air with delicate tremors, and musique concrète and noise that flow like river murmurs, I will weave layered sonic textures around the theme:
"Sympoiesis — Interbeings Rooted in the Intersecting Forest."

(Sympoiesis, as proposed by Donna Haraway, refers to a mode of existence that is never self-contained, but always emerges through collaboration, interdependence, and entanglement.)

Crossing between analog and digital, I'll be stitching a soundscape in motion.
As the event name suggests: Osukinidouzo (however you like)! Let's surrender to the sound, the light, and this fleeting moment beyond all forms and frames.

瞑想的に大地を脈打つ Slambient、精妙な振動で空気を裂くGlitch、川のせせらぎと揺らぎあう Musique ConcreteやNoise など、幾重にも折り重なる音のレイヤーを通して、
「シンポイエーシスー一交差の森に根ざす相互存在たち」
という主題を描いていきます。アナログとデジタルを横断しながら、音の森を編みます。

（「Sympoiesis」はドナ・ハラウェイが提唱した、「自己完結しない、常に他者との共創を通じて成り立つ存在のあり方」を示す概念です。）

イベント名が示すとおり、「おすきにどうぞ」。あらゆる形式を超えて、ただ音に、ただ光に、ただこの瞬間に、身をゆだねてみてください。

이번 에피소드는 지난 2018년에 발매되었던 'Occulta Series Vol​.​1: Angeli Caduti'에서 Dorian Gray가 들려주었던 고대의 신들과 밀교, 주술적 현상들에 대한 노이즈 앰비언트 음악에서 다시 영감을 받아 만들어지게 되었습니다.

The twenty-three 꿈 Kkum episode is a deep, twisted story of Italian electronic artist - Dorian Gray.
This episode was inspired by the noise-ambient album about ancient gods, esoteric and magical phenomena by Dorian Gray's "Occulta Series Vol​1: Angeli Caduti" released in 2018.
