Octavate came to life when George and Anders randomly bumped into each other at Basscamp, this cool music production thing in Portugal back in 2019 for drum and bass hopefuls. 'Ultimatum' was their very first track, and it's still super special to these two talented guys, one from Britain and the other from Denmark.

'Ultimatum' really captures the essence of Octavate, showing off their love for messing around with sounds, going with the flow, and laying down some seriously powerful beats. That vibe carries on through three more awesome tracks, each one giving you a different taste of what this duo is all about.

After grinding away for five years, finding their sound, and dropping tracks on some big-name labels, Octavate is all set and proud to drop their first EP on Dispatch.

Geostatic makes his Dispatch Limited debut with a deep two-tracker featuring the reflective "Thin Line" and the minimal, rolling "No Way”.

"Thin Line" is a personal ode to love-hate relationships, built around a bassline recorded with the Moog Sub37. Once paired with crisp percussion and delicate drum work, the deep, organic bass delivers an emotional, brooding melody that speaks to that often-familiar feeling.

The haunting vocals of "No Way" meet a driving bassline that lurks throughout this moody roller, to provide maximum dancefloor appeal whilst still maintaining its emotive content.

Geostatic's careful use of space and considered production ensure his music hits differently every time, these two tracks demonstrate his attention to detail and love of the craft.
