In Too Deep

This work of audio art from Brighton based producer Inkline consists of four originals and two remixes, providing a total of six spanking new bangers for you to get stuck into. The title track opens the release with an absolute stomper, as a militant wob pulsates in sync with a 4 on the floor kick pattern accompanied by luscious vocals and floaty synths. Next on the agenda is Inkline’s own re-vamp of Bluff but this time he juxtaposes the chaotic vibe of the original with a Sunday morning chill vibe, focusing much more on the musical element of the track creating a marvellously mellow masterpiece. First on remix duties is A.Motion, who contributes a shed load of breaks and squelchy bass noises in his take on the original. Second up to the plate to remix ‘Bluff’ is Left/Right, who has crafted a very special blend of naughty but nice by utilising shimmering melodic’s fused with a dark, gritty undertone. Moving on to the second original in the bundle we have ‘Sonar’, that sets the scene with a moody introduction before some funky industrial nastiness comes firing on all cylinders but with a slight upbeat twist. Closing this release is a third original from the man himself entitled ‘Promise Me’ that promises to kicks up a right stink as vicious mechanical frequencies savagely tear through a house beat. When these guys said they could produce we called their Bluff and this is the result… I think its safe to say they delivered!
