I got lost the other day
Cuz I didn’t know my destination

And at that moment the tears just kept rolling down my face

An overwhelming realization of how much I took this life for granted set upon me
Cuz I didn’t need to exist upon this planet but He chose me
To be the one who was born into my family
And sometimes I feel like I let down my family

Cuz I do not take advantage of all that life can be
I get caught up in my thoughts yeah they just keep on rambling
It’s hard for me to focus on the future when my past keep on constantly reminding me of the moments that I was once a better me

I pray that one day my mind won’t be my enemy
Cuz if the battles continue then my mind will be the death of me
Sometimes I wish that I didn’t understand the knowledge of good and evil
And sometimes I wish that God had never even created people

But this life is beautiful, even through all the suffering and the pain
Cuz if all I knew was good then there would be nothing to gain
You could have it all and one day God could take it all away
You could feel the worst in your life and God could take away all the pain

I been through shit, all I wanted to see was a brighter day
