She instantly pricks the ears of her audiences with her eclectic selections and is always looking for unique sonorities. She effortlessly shows off her versatility as she embraces a variety of melodies and rhythms with her unbothered attitude. Her musical influences range from Afro Rhythms, Percussions, Broken Rhythmics and Electric Bassy Sounds. 
 
BONA LÉA highly values spirituality and the effortless pursuit of good powers. Therefore she founded Jabanè Sessions, which pays homage to her cameroonian heritage and aims to offer a safe space that gathers people and bring positives energies in order to create a unique experience. Jabanè means sharing and comes from Duàlà, one of the multiple Cameroonian languages.

En esta primera entrega de la nueva serie de mezclas de Salviatek, en casi 50 minutos de experimentación sonora, Perigo DJ invita tanto al baile como a la meditación. Profundizando en la complejidad de la identidad latinoamericana y sus aportes, y haciendo foco en la herencia nativa y la africana, y su histórica interacción coercitiva con la sociedad dominante, Perigo DJ rompe con lógicas colonialistas, creando así nuevos paradigmas. En sus palabras: "Hice el mix pensando en cuánto nos influencia el mundo moderno y cómo acabamos modificando y hasta alejando nuestra cultura ancestral. El término "diáspora" me viene a la cabeza, para definir el fenómeno del desplazamiento forzado o promovido de grandes masas de población."

Perigo DJ (Fabrício Ribeiro) es un jóven Dj del nordeste de Brasil. Enamorado de la música desde niño, se interesa por la música electrónica en el 2015 y comienza a estudiar los ritmos latinoamericanos inspirado por artistas como TAYHANA, Pobvio, Lechuga Zafiro y BADSISTA. Forma parte del Colectivo Afro Raízes de la periferia de Fortaleza, Brasil, colectivo inspirado en la cultura afro-brasileña donde tiene un ciclo de eventos de baile.

"I became a DJ specifically because I love clubbing, nightlife for me was always important. I’m speaking in past tense for obvious reason. This pandemic has been life altering for my relationships—now I don’t just make friends when I’m out dancing or playing out! That said before this all began, Atlanta was really picking up in terms of defining its underground identity. We have a diverse range of crews and producers, so the language of our underground dance scene was in a new era. That said, I didn’t want to capture what ATL club life was like before covid, but what I think it could become if we keep this shit up. It’s not just Atlanta either; Nashville and Knoxville, both have amazing scenes and we all communicate. So for me, this is me doing my part—taking the collective identity of our steppers and presenting it to platforms like Discwoman. We have so many stories to tell, and that is what I needed this mix to do. "

AMPFEMININE has arrived to stimulate and arouse the creatives lurking in the darker corners of Rotterdam. We aim to add a lovely variety of color behind the decks and add the feminine energy that is missing in the power dynamics that are currently in place.

A dancefloor of bodies interacting and reacting, reminding each other of their physicality. With Rotterdam as our base, we curate events and play music, different to the sounds you’ve heard before. We will turn the volumes up and raise the levels of standard for what a party means and eventually shatter the glass ceiling. We aim at the production and reproduction of radical dancefloors and events which foster safety for all who may enter. Come and overexpress with us and let us blur your vision on what you are told the world is meant to look and sound like.
