It was about time they laid all their cards on the table; no more secrets, no more excuses and definitely no more sneaking around. How they'd not been found out yet was something of a miracle - there were many times the game had nearly been up, but somehow the truth had never come out. If they'd been honest from the outset, things could have been different, but sometimes putting your feelings out there, naked and bare, was more frightening than the repercussions. 

There's certain DJs that you can trust will curate a top drawer record label. With Bristol mainstay Danielle and her freshly minted Soft Raw imprint, we're definitely in safe hands. An extension of her own tastes as a DJ, the label will explore the contrast between soft and raw textures, casting a net far and wide to catch everything from abstract rhythms to technoid experiments and weighty sub-heavy sonics, whilst seeking to platform new producers who are carving out a singular sound. The first comes from Sam Black, better known as Slacker, who sets the tone in fine style with a collection of moody, rumbling cuts that lean heavily into jungle and half-time DnB.

Sometimes, we have the tendency to run away from distress because we do not want to deal with the feeling of pain, but the first step in spiritual healing is overcoming the fears and recognizing the pain. The sooner you address the cause of your difficulty, the sooner you’ll get freedom from the pain. Be aware of your situation.
Once you have faced the source of anxiety, you need to acknowledge the pain. Feel your emotions and question what their sources are. Be honest about your feelings. In this stage, it is normal to feel like situations are beyond your control, which can transfer the feeling of hopelessness. However, by allowing yourself to feel rage, it becomes easier for your wounds to heal. Honor your feelings.
Honoring your pain will teach you self-forgiveness. You should be able to feel the kindness within you and experience all the love you have for yourself. You will feel a conflict between the instinct to heal on your own, and the desire to accept the situation and seek support to get healed. You prove that you have an unwavering determination to get healed by choosing the latter. When you want spiritual healing, you have to place your faith in the universe, too. 
Surrendering the pain means releasing the pain and seeking support from the universe. It will help you ease your sufferings.
The negative ego vanishes from within you and makes your heart feel lighter once you release your pain. This is a sign of spiritual wellness. You will start to feel a deep openness towards things and think with a peaceful mind. You will become whole again and you will develop the ability to deal with the disruptions of your life with tolerance. The inner peace will be restored. Feal.

Sometimes you do things that you don't really understand until much later. You play drums in a band at school, you get immersed in the electronic layers behind video games, and then you fall in love with analogue machines. Veil has carefully woven all these stages into his project, which is as musical as it is visual.

His new opus, ‘Borrow My Eyes’, reflects his universe tinged with science fiction, UK influences, ambient and textural interplay. Variations in broken rhythms collide with flashes of electro and murky synthetic veils, creating a cinematography that is both raw and enveloping.

The four tracks provoke an experience that is both sonic on the outside and visual on the inside. Your eyes close and your mind opens up to Veil's mental screen, offering a slice of your memories that you can interpret with the nostalgia of your choice. The Dutchman job sifre offers a tangy, deconstructed version of this with his remix of the track ‘Pretty Light’.
