AmpleMen's "Umbrella Quartet" was devised in the process of instrument building which led to the creation of our instrument, the Redsolocupophone (see our two movement piece, "I Raise You Up," to see how it turned out).  The goal was to make music with household instruments.  Though where we ended up was somewhere entirely different, along the way we produced this: a quartet for four umbrellas.

There is just too much awful poetry out there.  We had to make a sequel piece!  This one, based on McGonagall's "The Tay Bridge Disaster," has some of the worst rhymes you will ever come across.
We will be performing the first Tragedy, based on the Marzials poem, live this coming Monday!  It will be AmpleMen's first live, concert performance!
