The first composition of Funny Valeys EP by Normal Stage opens up with a dub tech  micro rhythm which evolves gradually along with heavenly like vocal atmospheres. A little riff modulates along with the hypnotic synthtopia and chord stabs vibrate as they are washed over by their dub echoes. In the second track the raspy atmospheric pads and bouncy dubtech prepare us for a tour in the depths of dextrous tape echo tweaking. Empty land, misty air and a calm atmo which becomes entangled through live fx manipulation, are the gist of a deep listening experience. Track 3 is an audio pool of dreamesque digitalia. Slomo dub and nostalgic melodies evaporate in the deep jungle of the tropics. The locked dub groove which dominates track 4 takes us on a journey into a spiral of dark vibrations and tense echo manipulation. On the whole, Normal Stage delivers a playfull, imrpovised yet profound and structured body of work which are traits of his unique sound signature. Time turns into space, sound, accidents and tape hiss.

Then silence, preparing us for a scorching rattle of an epic soundtrack. The glass tower is hard to escape from, but not impossible. 
Cannon is a dub mover that gradually evolves into a psychedelic giant organism. A looped motif is developed through a plenitude of textures, surrounded by a storm of sonic entities. The meditative earthly synth line spreads all it's layers and manifests into an electrical current where darkness and light colide. It's the dawn of a new day, a taste of reality. 
Escapist remix by Normal Stage brings together a functional club banger. Pad stabs build an atmosphere full of profound swinging vibes. The track turns into a pulsating cloud of blended textures. Dans Mon Salon returns with a combative and tense yet cinematic take on Reach, the opening track of Apparition. It could be said thaτ the single consists of three movements in which the stories are set in unspecified time in the future. In the intro of the single our fictitious character is chained to a chest, and heavy steps carry them through a gutter tunnel up to no good. A heavy splash suggests the sinkage of the heavy box, which fills with water, hinting at the potential drowning of the chained hostage. The track closes with a short-term suspense-repeating thud. In the second movement, our hostage has survived, or thinks that they have survived, since their subconscious was owned by a transhumanist corporation prior to the captivity incident. They are out in the open, an eastern deserted hostile environment unravels a post-industrial quest to find a meaning in this game of memory and cognition. The spiky beat of Futuredreams is a fast-lane cyberpunk rework of Reach. In the closing track, our hero lives in a simulation, a situation where they cannot perceive if they are alive or dead anymore. The are aware that they escaped from drownage and they are on a hunt to find who had tied them up, threw them in the trunk and into the water; an endless chase of the truth, in future, in dreams.

In Balance Dub the idea stays the same. But as the name states, the work is stripped down to it's basics. It is a more simplified version of the original, yet unique in it's entirety. Harmonica's, dub echoes and chords reminiscent Jah nostalgia. This is a laid back beat that carries on hitting you until you sink into the sea of hypnotic dubness. All three tracks are mastered by Dubtronica guru Stefan Betke (aka Pole).

The formation of Kόκκινο Σίδερο arose from live improvisation sessions between electronic and electro-acoustic music composer Anastasios Kokkinidis (aka Emdy) and clarinetist Thanos Sideris. The duo, with a studio album already to their credit, primarily crafts a blend of experimental bass clarinet and live electronics. Returning to Amplify, they present audio evidence from their 2018 performance at the Endorphin festival, an annual outdoor music event that originated in 2007 as a DIY techno party under a concrete bridge next to a stream in the area of Mount Olympus.
A pulsating, slow, hypnotic four-on-the floor beat opens the album as high pitched clarinet overtones enter the audio spectrum. A leading note along with a distorted synth bass line prepares us for what is going to follow. 
The second track unfolds in a looped drone on top with fast-paced clarinet passages. The upbeat muffled kick drum resolves into a shuffling groove, which builds up only to reveal a growling, ever-changing frequency oscillation. Battling snares lock the groove, leading to a full-range kick double-time inferno. Repeating virtuosic clarinet runs are taking us to a wooshy acid warfare, where the composition resolves into a single tone. 
Someone would predict an equivalent transposition into a harder-sounding third passage. The surprise, though, is that this time Kokkinidis and Sideris introduce an ongoing polyrhythmic stutter. Bashing metallic percussion brings to mind a mutated Gamelan orchestra. The extremely fast clarinet solos, with high-pitched bending microtones, blend seamlessly with the pounding drums, creating a shamanic ritual—an ideal backdrop for a rural all-nighter.
The concluding segment of this improvisational work showcases the duo's remarkable flexibility, suggesting a dynamic call-and-response interplay. The clarinet undergoes diverse variations, producing bright, piercing high overtones, bordering on the alienated and estranged. The drums ebb and flow in various iterations, accompanied by swarms of wobbling synth modulations. The performance concludes with a fusion of clarinet high-pitched trills, overdriven synth arpeggios, and persistent percussive bashing, culminating in a liberating applause. As the leading note lingers and dissipates slowly, it triggers endorphin release, allowing the mind and body to wander untethered in the realms of transcendence.

Italo disco and proto - house flavors dress this collaboration in between Dans Mon Salon and Echonomist, an odyssey into the realms of feelings and romance. Slap bass lines, orchestral sections and Moroder - esque synth lines take us on a trip to analogue disco magic while the vocals escalate to an emotional crescendo. ‘What you feel is what you get’:  immersion into the depths of unconditional love.

Michail’s remix is a raw club filler that has been filtered down to the essentials. The boomy bassline that hits you like a multitude of impulses and the cautiously crafted rhythm section are the foundations of this vibrating organism. It is an organism that hosts a vibing chord sequence, a locked groove where the vocals blossom in the darkness.  Still, there is more to that, when the drop becomes the forerunner of a  techno drive and resolves through ravey synth stabs.
