What an absolutely sublime, intense and unreal honor to lead this Journey with you all! This is the live recorded set I played at Ecstatic Dance Chicago on 3-24-18. We had a cacao activation ceremony before this dance and WOW! Was it ever powerful! I am so grateful to have the opportunity to play this set for all present, both in person and in spirit. Please enjoy this at loud volumes, plenty of bass and with an open heart! I dare you to sit still! ;)

Amritaji (Amrit Dhillon) has been spinning psychedelic worldbeat and bass music since 2007. Coming from her roots in psytrance, she has spent over a decade and a half playing at electronic music events, festivals and Ecstatic Dances around the world. Her unique style of weaving the traditional music of Eastern and indigenous cultures with electronic bass and dance music started with her love for sonic-induced states of trance after practicing traditional Sanskrit Kirtan when she was in high school. A lifelong musician, Amritaji is passionate about blending traditional and modern music, giving her audiences a distinct sonic experience of deep bass lines, Eastern melodies and uplifting grooves. Her passion is for creating dance journeys to offer a sonic space for healing, free and authentic expression, and fun! She across the US and internationally. She currently live in London and is pursuing her Masters of Music in Ethnomusicology at SOAS, University of London.

Amritaji founded Ecstatic Dance Milwaukee in 2016. Between 2018-2025, she was a resident DJ and DJ trainer at Ecstatic Dance Salt Lake City. She is also a DJ trainer with Dance The Medicine. Amritaji has had mixes featured on Shanti Planti and Street Ritual Records.

Amritaji has performed on lineups with artists such as Desert Dwellers, Kalya Scintilla, Govinda, Kaminanda, Whitebear, Random Rab, SaQi, AtYya, An-Ten-Nae, WHYT RBBT Dimond Saints, and the Jumpsuit Records family.
