This is audio just released by the crew of the Madleen, the humanitarian flotilla that is on its way to Gaza to feed the people.  All prior attempts to reach Gaza by flotilla have been met with violent attacks by Israeli forces resulting in the death of at least 10 humanitarian workers, and injuries to many others.  This audio clip comes from the flotilla that is now 50 km off the coast of Greece on its way to Gaza.  They are presently surrounded by unidentified drones, and there is a heightened sense of danger.

My name is Amrit Kohli and I am a Freestyle Folk musician from Nairobi, Kenya.

I came to America in 1979 and have spent my whole life trying to both understand and learn as much as I can about this vast country. I became an American Citizen when I was only 11 years old, and my story is as complex as this nation's history. My music speaks to my struggles for acceptance, for love, for compassion, and for forgiveness.
