This is an adapted cover version of the song by Singh Kaur which is originally translated from Sukhmani Sahib (Peace Lagoon) of the Sikhs. 
I was inspired to sing it after hearing a dear friend Khalsa Kaur sing it in the ambrosial hours under the stars in the New Mexico desert during the rensabhai (all night devotional music). 
I recorded it the next day up the mountain through my laptop speakers.

I got an email from a friend asking me about Solfeggio Frequencies so I threw the pitches in to Csound and was diggin what I heard. so took it a step further.

Reading up on the Solfeggio frequencies (from Wikipedia page - search it) I noticed that an important part is how they reduced (numerology). This seemed like an obvious place to work with in the form. The different frequencies all play out their "reduced" numbers literally in length and timing, with the longer tones (dividsion of the max volume) and softer and the shortest louder (1=loudest). Similar idea to Cages "58" or many of Morton Feldman's compositions. I really like when these pieces take on their own individual evolution through time and combine to create surprising harmonies (or dissonances) whether you planned it or not. 

I'm always curious about the significance of these more "mystical" numbers and how they relate to sound and composition. This one practically wrote itself.
