"Burned Skin" is a song born in 1995, written by Bieke, Daniel, and Stefan in Leuven under the name Sekret Oktober after a b-side of a band I won't mention here. Back then, we thought our obscure lyrics were poetic masterpieces. Fast forward to 2024, and Daniel decided to dig through ancient artifacts (a.k.a. floppy discs) and found a disc reader to resurrect the old MIDI file. Stefan then worked his magic on Logic and gave the song a makeover. Our original singer was not ready to go yet (but who knows, that may still come later), so we substituted the vocals with some melancholic samples.

"Burned Skin" is a song born in 1995, written by Bieke, Daniel, and Stefan in Leuven under the name Sekret Oktober after a b-side of a band I won't mention here. Back then, we thought our obscure lyrics were poetic masterpieces. Fast forward to 2024, and Daniel decided to dig through ancient artifacts (a.k.a. floppy discs) and found a disc reader to resurrect the old MIDI file. Stefan then worked his magic on Logic and gave the song a makeover. Our original singer was not ready to go yet (but who knows, that may still come later), so we substituted the vocals with some melancholic samples. Now, thanks to Japanese recording artist Chillzeni, this relic has been remixed further away from the orginal into something new and, infinitely more danceable. Sekret Oktober - Burned Skin 2024 (Lekker Hondje Remix)

"Any Second Now" is originally a Depeche Mode song that was released as the B-side of "Just Can't Get Enough."  We covered it sometime in the second half of the '90s with the band Sekret Oktober.

In 2024, Daniel decided to dig through ancient artifacts (a.k.a. floppy discs) and found a disc reader to resurrect the old MIDI file. Stefan revived the MIDI files and gave them new life with updated instruments. We then collaborated with the amazing @minimalnomad to create the vocal version, and here it is: a mix of very smooth vocals and icy analog electronic sounds.

About TKO: 

Making electronic music in Hong Kong with some friends in a band TKO. Usually we play hour long electronic jams. Am trying to cut them down to 5 minutes or so before uploading.
