Ii was the third day of the wind but it was not as heavy now and he sat at the ,table and read the story over from the start to where he had left off, correcting as he read. He went on with the story, living in it and nowhere else, and when he heard the voices of the two girls outside he did not listen. When they went by the window he lifted his 'hand and waved. It was too late to have breakfast and he was tired after working and did not want to drive the old Isotta into town with its bad brakes and huge malfunctioning motor -although the key was with a note Catherine had left saying they had gone to meet Boubouteq, Zuma Dionys and Tribu Oro, spend a charming night with them deep in the Gardens Of Jammu, close to Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains right behind and would look in at the cafe for him on their way home.

DJs are a nomadic people. Drifting between venues, airports and hotel rooms, they’re always on the hunt for new music and clubbing activity. They are, indeed, the Bohemians of the 21st Century. Or as Britta Arnold, unders and Noraj Cue would call them: Happy Campers. 

2018 has been a magnificent year for the Happy Camper family. Much has happened since the imprint burst unto the scene with HCR001, ‘Story at the Campfire.’ Five releases further down the line, the family is bigger than ever, and the signature sound is ever more refined. This sixth EP by German favorite Iorie is another team effort. And with Sam Shure, Genii, Unders and Noraj Cue on remix duties, you know it’s set to rip floors across the globe. 

Iorie is a remarkable human being. He’s been singing, playing instruments and producing music since the tender age of 15. Inspired by his extensive travels and his many international encounters, Iorie writes cryptic lyrics, which he sings in mesmerizing ways. Happy Camper crossed his path in KaterBlau (where else) and instantly fell in love with his tantalizing vocals and sounds. 

Both the original mixes on this Less Is More EP showcase Iories exquisite ear for details, and his knowledge of musical theory. More may sound soothing at first, but you’re in for a treat as soon as the synthesizer starts ripping it. Both Sam Shure and Genii have made some excellent reinterpretations, Sam Shure adding a delicate and euphoric pads and pianos, and Genii taking it down a notch for those extra slow-burning vibes. 

Less takes you deeper into the dark night, its compelling bassline wooing you into a state of hypnosis, before hurling you back on your tippy toes again. Happy Camper head honchos unders & Noraj Cue team up for a very tribal contribution. Feel the drums resounding through your limbs, as you bounce your way to blissful oblivion.

born in the fabulous year of 1972 in south west of france.
Passionated by all sounds since child (always berlin in first ! kraftwerk , nitzer ebb...& also london or paris or US house & rap) 
I became a vinyles dj in 1992 in nature , forests, private parties. Educated by Dj Nerate (UK) from famous Spiral Tribe team, i'm  proud to have been a part of these first influences @ early times of techno movement in france with very small audience (but high quality^^^ones  at the beginning , playing house, hardhouse, techno, hard techno, trance , psytrance... sharing the sound in thailand koh phan gan (92 to 95) & goa beaches (92 to 97) , jungle or breakbeat, during 10 years
After a break of 20 years..I came back on the desks , that time on digital materials from summer 2022 & at 50 years old..(!!) 
I like to improvise with all the avalanche of new stuff that i hunt & receive  each day from some precious friends.
Downtempo or midtempo (even high tempo), house, slowhouse, deephouse, hip house, electronic , deep beats,psytrance or chillhouse & even sometimes with melodic or else .
My singularity is to play without headphones most of time (it guaranty for me the essence of the energy of improvisation..)
My eclectic knowledge & my singular way to mix make my personnality , groovy & Deep most of time.
