Demonstrates the brilliance of Lucidfow as a whole in how they bring the swing within a genre which can be generally conformed to productions which are too calculated and constrained. This track is deep and low slung. Perfect warm up material Deep Invitation using its off kilter percussive arrangement and melancholic chords provides a great ride throughout. Structure is fantastic,creating passages where you can mix and layer effortlessly which is essential quality I look for in all productions Paul Lorraine showcases an absolute corker of a remix. Low slung locked grooves marinated in bubbling fx and bass stabbs. Paul has been a great signing to the Lucidflow stable, and he certainly demonstrates why here Nadja's remix definitely focuses on the marriage between dark and light passage of sounds. Crazy dark bongo styled rhythms begin this journey until the breakdown which opens up to blissful tones and great spoken word samples and carries on throughout the whole track CDT's take on drunken divine would have to be the most stripped back affair out of the lot at first. Then out of nowhere he creates a broken beat masterpiece with juggling drum patterns and swirling melodies. Great work here. I think they are all equally great productions, but if I had to pick one track that would have to be Drunken Divine. Yet again the leafs are turning neon golden, reminding us of the change of seasons lying at the edge of our doorstep. The first cold breezes and the fading warmth of the sun, which we just took for granted so easily, sketch the outline of that mild and soothing melancholia resting in autumn's palms. A mood we can very well enjoy to bury in deeply and with Luise's newest release listen to closely. »MENTIS EXCESSUS« is a tenderly crafted tale, a musical journey that paints broad images of false memories and blurry resemblances. Like a Déjà-vu that lasts too long to put aside, it crawls up your neck to give you that eerie feeling of curiosity with which you look at the uncanny world that suddenly surrounds you.

We are very pleased to welcome »WIDE AWAKE« as the most recent addition to Luises's sheltered, little family, a project that has its foundations at the talented hands and hearts of »Niju«, »Ninze« & »Okaxy«. These three banded together for greater good to provide nothing less, but their as well as Laut & Luise's first album.

Der Erlös dieses Samplers wird ohne Umwege der „Initiative Bienenretter“ vom Frankfurter Institut für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (FINE) zugutekommen. Dieses Bildungsprojekt lehrt nicht nur die urbane Imkerei um neuen Lebensraum für Bienen zu schaffen, sondern macht in Vorträgen auch darauf Aufmerksam dass unser Konsumverhalten die Ursache für das Bienensterben ist. Eingeschiffte Parasiten, der Einsatz von Pestiziden und Monokulturen in der Landwirtschaft begünstigen diesen Prozess, der nicht nur zum Aussterben der Bienen führen, sondern letztlich auch unser Ende bedeuten könnte. Ohne Bienen wäre ein funktionierendes Ökosystem undenkbar.
