peer23EP exhibits their musicality and diversity, ranging from atmospheric downtempo to more energetic dance songs. Seeder's "The Appreciator" is a new age dance floor classic for the techno scene; meanwhile, Benior's "Apus Apus (feat. Zejasa)" delivers a more leisurely and atmospheric dance floor presence. Niju's "Wasser Mit…" offers an exotic, bubbly, and rhythmic downtempo track ideal for the sunset or the after-party.

Vocals are present in the EP as well, with tracks by Rothbarth and Rüdiger Eisberg. "Calm My Brain (ft. Marika)" by Rüdiger Eisberg keeps the vocals minimal over an airy 105 bpm track and gradually drives the vocals in throughout the track's climax. Meanwhile, "Vom Versuch (feat. In Strangers i played guitar inspired by the crunchy recording in the Dead Man Soundtrack by Neil Young. The vocals I recorded originally only as placeholders for a melody, but later I just left them in there. And the trumpets and trombones. Well they are probably traces of traditional Swiss folk music, which influenced me maybe more than i thought it had and to deny this would be untrue. This song was created with a strong feeling of hope and positivity for humanity.

1) What is your favorite book to read?

That's not an easy question because I definitely don't read enough. but at the moment I'm reading the book: "Paris - ein Fest fürs Leben" by Ernest Hemingway and I love the way Hemingway calmly talks about his time and describes life as an artist in Paris.

2) If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

There are a lot of good answers for the second question. I think speaking for humanity, my superpower would be to end wars and hunger, for me personally the greatest superpower would be to be infinitely free from all constraints and conventions.

3) What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)?

the longest i was up was like 40
hours when we organized our own open air and were busy throughout the night. Otherwise, sleep is very important to me and you will rarely find me at extended after-hour sessions

Pfandtastisch! Eine riesige Meute Soundpirat*innen hat sich dazu bereit erklärt, feine Musik für den vierten und bisher größten Kopfüber Sampler zu produzieren.

Dieses Mal geht es nicht um die Schiffe der Seawatch, die wir mit dem letzten Solisampler unterstützt haben. Unser eigenes Schiff schwankt, angesichts der aktuellen Lage und steht stillgelegt in seinem Heimathafen. Daher haben wir uns entschlossen, Freund*innen und Crewmitglieder*innen zum Produzieren zu animieren und diese Soundsammlung dann als Soli Sampler für einen humanen Einklaufspreis auf Bandcamp zu stellen. Jegliche Einnahmen werden dazu genutzt, die monatliche Miete für unser Verwirrtshaus zu sichern!

Pawn-tastic! A huge mob of sound pirates* has agreed to produce fine music for the fourth and so far biggest Kopfüber sampler.

This time it's not about the Seawatch ships we supported with the last soli sampler. Our own ship is wavering, given the current situation and stands idle in its home port. Therefore we decided to encourage friends and crew members to produce and then put the collected sounds on Bandcamp as a soli-sampler for a humane price. Any income will be used to secure the monthly rent for our Verwirrtshaus!

We are looking forward to your support to keep our project running in times like these. Future samplers will be free downloads again!
