We’re excited to welcome @Papfay1 , a young and promising French producer, to the Phases family with his debut single, Nouvel Air.

At 26, Papfay has already built an impressive foundation, drawing inspiration from artists like Joachim Pastor and Paul Kalkbrenner. His self-taught approach and love for electronic music have led him to release with labels such as Trndmsk, Café de Anatolia, Lump Records, Kosa Music, and Ohxala Records.

Nouvel Air brings a mystical and driving energy to slower-house music. With rich textures and hypnotic rhythms, the track creates an immersive atmosphere that feels both introspective and captivating. It’s a reflective journey into Papfay’s evolving sound, showcasing his passion and creativity.

Releasing on January 13, under the first full moon of 2025, this track marks a fresh start and a new collaboration with Phases. We’re proud to have Papfay on board and can’t wait for you to dive into Nouvel Air. This is just the beginning of an exciting path ahead.

Tahiti in French Polynesia his home for the past few years. A
computer engineer and musician, he creates evocative
soundscapes inspired by his global travels, blending electronic with world music
elements. Using analog and digital synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and
samples, Nato brings listeners on a musical journey across distant lands.
This EP unfolds with 3 hypnotic downtempo tracks, followed by an explosive
uptempo club banger. Spanning languages, each piece invites you to dive into
unique rhythms and cultural nuances—an adventure through sound, crafted for
exploration.

Let’s start 2025 with gingembre's first album, “Human Traces” — an inquiry into what it means to be a human.

Each of the 11 tracks was produced reflecting on the complexity of existence. From “There is No Spoon”, a nod to The Matrix and our self-created realities, to “Fragments of the Self”, inviting the listener to reflect on their own inner world.

While the album acknowledges the presence of melancholia and darkness, its overarching tone leans towards hope and bliss — an uplifting reminder of the beauty found in our shared struggles and triumphs.
