“When I first met Jean Michel LaPointe (my creative partner) in Tarzana, Inspector Jack was one of the first songs produced at the legendary studio. We are both avid fans of classic movies from the 60s through 90s and me, being a huge fan ofInspector Gadget (growing Up watching it as a kid in Farsi). 
We thought it would be cool to produce a song that felt like it had the energy and gave a wild cinematic energy in the most organic way possible. Jean Michelle laid down an amazing Bassline and we thought why not add more layers to the Bassline like top notes. And then we were like, why not hire a whole brass quartet with the Bassline?? So we got the amazing Brandyn Phillips Brass Quartet to come in and we recorded them playing the bass line. Having real instruments was a game changer and something I had not done in this caliber, we really went full Lawrence of Arabia on this one. 3I/ATLAS is the third confirmed interstellar object ever observed. Discovered on 1 July 2025 by the ATLAS telescope in Chile, it’s up to about 28 km wide, traveling fast and will pass just inside Mars’ orbit in late October 2025. Likely an active comet, it may form a glowing coma and tail as it nears the Sun. 

Though hidden behind the Sun at closest approach, it should reappear by December 2025. Interstellar visitors like 3I/ATLAS carry material from distant planetary systems, offering a rare glimpse into worlds beyond our own and bringing significant changes into the energy grid of our solar system.

It's always challenging to "wake" a stage. And this day it was! Getting ready at the decks, i discretly glanced at the dancefloor to only find not one, not two, but three sleepers comfortably installed on the cozy sofas of the Shala Playgrounded Stage

My goal was set! these sleepers must get up. But not at once. By slowly distillating the music into their minds to the point getting up becomes irresistible.

Ok, i quickly lost sight of these three fellows so i'll never know if i succeeded, but i like to think i did. 

Thanks to all the dancers & friends who were present during my set, including the ones that arrived right at the end ;) As always, eternal love to the artists who produced the tracks i played that day.

And much love to the O’Tawa team for inviting me to be part of this adventure again..
