I can´t explain what i feel when i´m listening to this...I love Downtempo.

I have always loved music, but it wasn’t until I discovered Hip-Hop from the 90´s and all of the music that is connected with this genre via sampling that I really began to dig deeper.

I started playing the drums, and produced my first beats on a MPC. I played Funk, Soul and Hip-Hop DJ sets but never could identify myself completely within a genre. It is why I fell in love with Downtempo music. I loved that you could combine so many different styles and genres in this music and I felt like I could really grow as an artist in this genre for a long time.

My appreciation for so many different styles of music still influences me today, I alway try to push the border between genres so I don’t close myself off from new possibilities.

Therefore I am very happy to have RA SUAINE as the cover artist for this Ep.

Seeder's "The Appreciator" is a new age dance floor classic for the techno scene; meanwhile, Benior's "Apus Apus (feat. Zejasa)" delivers a more leisurely and atmospheric dance floor presence. Niju's "Wasser Mit…" offers an exotic, bubbly, and rhythmic downtempo track ideal for the sunset or the after-party.

Vocals are present in the EP as well, with tracks by Rothbarth and Rüdiger Eisberg. "Calm My Brain (ft. Marika)" by Rüdiger Eisberg keeps the vocals minimal over an airy 105 bpm track and gradually drives the vocals in throughout the track's climax. Meanwhile, "Vom Versuch (feat. Ringo Chambre & Sofia)" by Rothbarth is a pad-filled electronica song that draws attention to the vocals featuring socially-conscious lyrics.
