About this journey:
I often create my sonic storytelling with a title and intention that I hold through the journey of its birth into the world. This one was different, it began without a title – just a feeling into the frequency of Cosmovision Records. But a title did arrive – midway through recording as I felt my body and all of my being become the wind. This journey, this story, invokes the wind that we are. Air. Weightless. Strong. @JonasSchilling is an electronic music artist from Berlin. 
He has the ability to perfectly combine the aesthetics of downtempo and house music with analog recordings and a sophisticated approach to harmony, arrangements and sound design.  

His upcoming single „Embers“ is built on a driving dance beat featuring lots of organic analog sounds.  The atmosphere is warm and mysterious, leading up to a dramatic finale which is typical for Jonas Schillings tracks.  

„Embers“ is the second single of Jonas Schillings EP „Smoke“ that will be fully released in March, followed by a remix for Trippin Jaguar as well as several collaborations and a full album to be released this year.

«Ja ja, wir gehen ja schon», grummeln wir. Im selben Moment kommt eine Bimmelbahn mit quietschenden Reifen vor uns zum Stehen. «Taxi?», ruft Lokführer Lui Mafuta uns entgegen.
«Joa ok.». Wir steigen ein. Schön.
Lui drückt aufs Gas und dann auf play, damit wir den Ausblick mit bummeliger Bimmelbahnmusik genießen können. Bei 108 bpm bimmelbummelt es sich in der Tat ausgesprochen angenehm.
«Wo soll denn die Reise hingehen?», fragt er uns durchs Mikrofon.

Auf ihren mächtigen Scharnieren sitzen zwei Hundis auf allen Vieren - freundliche Augen, hechelndes Maul - ihr Name: Ameli Paul. «Guten Tag, was braucht es, um diese Pforte passieren zu dürfen?», fragen wir ehrfürchtig.
Da antworten sie synchron: «Ein Maximum an Leckerlis, wir hofften, das wusstet ihr schon.»
Was nun?

We are delighted to share the first EP of Karbana (@user-765434859) with you. The peculiar duo dug deep in their trick boxes and created two unique masterpieces.
