When @gottlieb-scheppert send us the track that he produced for us and asked for a good name for it, we decided to close our eyes while listening and see what comes up. Somehow we pictured a desert, or rather looking out from an Oasis into the desert. Therefore we decided to name the song after the Chalbi desert in Kenya, which is close to the project area from @love-foundation. 100% of the income from this song will go to supporting the Love Foundation's water project. We are living in turbulent times at the moment and when Steffen send us this beautiful track he mentioned that he thought of peace on earth while creating it. His aim is to create peace in our hearts for the 6:51 minutes that the track lasts and we believe he succeeded in that. We already enjoyed the track for two weeks now and whenever we listened to it, it had a very calming effect on us and functioned as a little oasis of peace on a stressful day. Cosmovision presents '' Animals of the Earth ''

The human race has lived and shared this space we call Earth with the animal kingdom for millions of years but today, most cultures have abandoned the idea that humans are animals like the others. Our modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property, extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals we and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the condor, the rabbit, the deer, the frog and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.

Here is Wanda's interpretation of this song, as part of Handed Edit - HE(LP).

HE(LP) is a year-long, edit-only album by Wanduta :
12 months, 12 countries, 12 tracks, available the last week of each month. Every track will be an edit of a song from a different country.
A free participation download link will be available on Bandcamp, and if you chose to give a little something, 100% of what I'll receive will be donated to a charity organization of the country where the original song is from.
For this one,  the association who will receive donations is Solidaris223, an association helping the poorest people in Mali

As a human being i feel the constant process of transformation and evolution in life.
Music is an elemental  part on my journey to discover myself.

Different stages of development are connected to emotions - I try to manifest this creatively. It helps me to transcend difficult moments or enjoy even blissful emotions deeper. Reliq represents a new mysterious force  that needed to be revealed in me.

This need created a movement from within that pushes me forward.  
I see  this as a giant leap in my personal forthcoming, to understand what i want to express.

As always amongst human beings, this is a joint effort and therefore i want to thank the people who helped me along the way. Santiago Niño Rodriguez for advising me musically and Carolina Niño Buro for the visual art. Without them this release would not be the same.
