Summer is flying by and it's time for our next compilation again. This time we have put together a large selection of artists for you whose sound we have been liking lately.

Downtempo is a very diverse music genre with many different styles and directions. As always, we want to address all these influences we like with our compilation and bring them under one roof. So there should be something for everyone on this release, whether to chill out on an open air or inside in the fog of the night.

We are very grateful to have represented so many different and talented musicians on our label and we would like to thank all artists involved. Especially our Mastering Engineer Haunted Water & Kilian Van De Water for the gorgeous Artwork again.

They allow artists, producers, musicians, and other free spirits to find their space for expression, both metaphorically and through their studios and workspaces. Peer23 EP reflects this ethos - with five tracks with different styles by five various artists.

peer23EP exhibits their musicality and diversity, ranging from atmospheric downtempo to more energetic dance songs. Seeder's "The Appreciator" is a new age dance floor classic for the techno scene; meanwhile, Benior's "Apus Apus (feat. Zejasa)" delivers a more leisurely and atmospheric dance floor presence. Niju's "Wasser Mit…" offers an exotic, bubbly, and rhythmic downtempo track ideal for the sunset or the after-party.

Vocals are present in the EP as well, with tracks by Rothbarth and Rüdiger Eisberg. "Calm My Brain (ft. Marika)" by Rüdiger Eisberg keeps the vocals minimal over an airy 105 bpm track and gradually drives the vocals in throughout the track's climax. Meanwhile, "Vom Versuch (feat. Ringo Chambre & Sofia)" by Rothbarth is a pad-filled electronica song that draws attention to the vocals featuring socially-conscious lyrics.

The second Nova Remix EP contains three songs produced by Planet Caravan, Deep Ändi and Ykonosh. The Supernova remix by Deep Ändi is a smooth song with a relaxed attitude and a nice boost of energy after the main break. Planet Caravan presents his version of Aquanova with a stunning bassline combined with atmospheric pads and hypnotizing lead sounds. Terranova by Ykonosh is a tribal-inspired track with a many groovy elements and a perfectly complementary vocal. Together these Artists create a new adventure trail through the forces of nature. From the very first second we listened to his sound, he really caught our interest with his slow and organic way of understanding downtempo music. After being part of our last compilation already, we’re super excited to share with you his debut EP on our label now. We also want to thank all the remix artists involved for their stunning interpretations!

A monk is sitting in the lotus position, fully aware of his surroundings as he meditates. He starts to chant the mantra of YAM and opens his heart with the anahata chakra. He is right by the water - the Mekong River and becomes one with nature as he chants. A musical piece comes into his vision and his smile is brightening up, while he takes in the sun rays. He gets inspired by the slow twisting rhythms and low frequencies injecting deep into his soul. Chakra Yam is a piece, that is shaping the path between the physical and the metaphysical realm, to connect you with the universe, as all what we are made of are the remnants of ancient stardust.
