Merging elements from Organic House, DownTempo and World Music producers transparently show what their music evolution is all about and set a confident step on an energetic up tempo track.
Family artists VRuno, MonoAbe and Joselito., have been long friends of We Küyen, contributing with beautiful sets, studio sessions and vibrant tracks in our international gatherings.

1) If you could have any talent in the world, what would it be?

I have this recurring dream wherein i play the guitar just by using my mind, i’m able to hear every note i can think of without the limitations of the body.  It would be a wonderful talent to have in the waking world aswel.

2) What's the craziest or most out-of-character thing you've ever done?

That’s a though question! My mom could be reading this! hahah
Let’s just say, i share the same crazy stories that every “Psychonaut” has experienced.

3)What's your favourite thing about the place where you live?

We live in a small village near the mountains of Serra da Estrella in Portugal and my favourite thing here is to watch the birds show of their flying skills while listening to their morning songs with the sound of the river in the background. This really tickles my heart and makes me want to grow wings and join them, which is what i also do when my body goes to sleep :)

The human blink is controlled by the subconscious. The reflexive closing movement of the eyelids clean and protect the eyes. When we blink, the visual centre in the brain is regulated. Therefore, we do not consciously perceive this whole process and the briefly reduced incidence of light. On average, this procedure is conducted 10-15 times per minute. In moments of great excitement, joy or concentration, we can blink significantly less often. Due to the excessive focus, the blinking becomes a consciously controlled process for a certain amount time. The first Joe Carl EP on KataHaifisch contains two tracks. Both are well suited for a club setting. Strong basses create a dancing mood and hypnotic leads a dreamy atmosphere. In both songs you can hear the unique style of Joe Carl. En ellos se pueden apreciar los nuevos pasos de la corriente actual de artistas electrónicos influenciados por los sonidos y ritmos de Latinoamérica.

Fertil discos is a newly born argentinean label, based in Buenos Aires. We are pleased to announce our most recent compilation, divided in two separate albums -one representing the Day, the other gathering Night sounds. Both records illustrate the new steps of the new wave of South America’s electronic artists, influenced by the sounds and rythms of our continent.

The compilation proposes you an ideal soundtrack for sunrises/sunsets on desert islands, drawing inspiration from ancient rhythms, electronic bass lines, and recent productions with a world music mindset.

Both volumes put together danceable songs like “Animal Estrella” (Pol Nada & El Remolón) and “Periferia” (Paisandoom); folktronic compositions like “Tejido” (Jin Yerei feat. Kona); slow techno songs like “Orobon” (Barda) and talented electronic compositions like “Dialogue” (Tomanka) and “Galata” (Santi) among other undiscovered gems.

@Menteorganica is a 18 year old Colombian that moved to Berlin this year and had a very smooth arrival in the scene. After gigs at Fusion festival and Kater Blau and releases with @numanumanuma and @Randomcollectivecr we are happy to present you his newest creation. We combined it with our first remix by out mutual friend @steffenkirchhoff.  50% of the profits are going to the @loveFoundation Water Project in Kenia and the other 50% are split equally between artist and label.

'' I actually was really fascinated by the vocals of the original, so I tried to find a proper translation but it seems that it’s a lost language so I couldn’t find one. This made it even more interesting for me though. It leaves more space for imagination: Is it a song used for rituals where everybody was dancing and had a good time? Is it a sad song which was performed when something bad happened in a tribe? What do you think? Consequently I tried to keep the edit as simple as possible because I wanted the vocals to be the most prominent part of the track. In my opinion, Cosmovision is the best place for this edit and I’m really thankful for them to share it with you/the world <3 As usual I picked 72 beats per minute, so I’m really excited and curious to see how people manage to mix it in a dj-set. Have fun listening and imagining.

estimua came into the downtempo/world scene about a year ago. His mission is to create more tracks that are below 90 BPM, so he started really slow with about 72 BPM. This song is a good example for it. At the same time he is a member of the Berlin downtempo collective called @slowtribe, They've already organized a lot of events at different locations for example with @n-u @peter-power @heimlichaufsc @voodoohop or @kamaimusic
