Nuspheric

These songs represent what ignites inside of me when I am playing musical instruments with other people. I learn much about music when I am playing percussions in an improvised jam with others. By listening and observing how percussionists play, I absorb and later I try to manifest and share these sensations when I am producing new music.  

All these shared moments enrich my musical spirit. Playing all kinds of instruments and improvising for hours, I enter a state of meditation with everyone involved in the Jam. I feel wholeness and unity in these moments. This brings me the warm feeling of community. Gathering around music is the main force and we are the mediums that resonate in sound. These experiences keep my motivation and inspiration alive. 

I want to thank Hernan Dick for helping me to write Un Canto. Also want to thank my sister Michelle Billiet for recording the guitars of Un Canto. And finally I want to thank Santiago Niño for his musical advice and Pamela Sidharta for the cover artwork. I am Eternally grateful.

 unique organic and emotional soundscapes. Her ever evolving sound has been long in the making, revealing herself as a multicultural explorer in different cities 

like Toronto, Vancouver, Mexico City and Tulum. Her particular music adds a feminine and magical essence in electronic music.

The journey of Heimlich Musik continues with their third compilation that sums up the current state of art in downtempo music. By featuring a great mixture of up and coming and more established artists in the first two compilations, the third compilation follows this concept. 
Musically speaking, the third compilation comes as a vivid trip from oriental treats, as for example "Mumu“ by the Austrian "Wille zum Wahnsinn" to melancholic slow house, as served by "Youlaike" from Cologne. With a slowed down Indie-Disco tune Patrick Alavi continues the musical trip. Istanbul’s "Islandman" delivers a percussion-driven tool to complete the wide musical range of this collection. The third compilation by Heimlich Musik proves that downbeat music doesn't know any genre-boundaries.

Thick white snow pelted down from above; the path in front of them was barely visible now the sun had set. It was a long walk back through the forest and the group had grown tired after fighting through the wind and the hail. Winter had arrived and it wasn't taking any prisoners. As they reached the depths of the forest they soon realised the snow had covered their tracks; their Hansel and Gretel breadcrumbs were no more. How would they find their way back to base? They would have to take a punt and follow their gut instead...

Following his euphoric debut release on Feel My Bicep, James Shinra brings his skilled productions to one of Scotland's best exporters of electro, Craigie Knowes. Over the last few years Mitch and Max, the guys behind the label, have released heavy hitters from some of the finest artists operating in that sphere, like Carl Finlow, Jensen Interceptor, Maelstrom and Textasy. James Shinra adds to that healthy discography with some acid driven cuts that have a "sinister, wintery feel"...
