With the recent return of Col. Hadfield back to Earth from the ISS, I was inspired to make a space mix of my own. The mix includes some tracks that take me to another place and I hope it can do the same for you. It would make for some great listening if you're looking to clear your head for a bit or want something to get you into the zone for some work or studying. 

It starts off mellow with some deep melodies and quickly peaks with some uplifting synths and riffs near the middle of the mix. The spacey vibes continue into the latter half of the mix as the energy increases. It ends with 2 of my favourite trance tracks and a surprise appearance from Morpheus & Neo.

The Space Mix, Vol. 1

I decided to make a year mix to feature some of my favourite Anjunadeep releases from 2016. 

The music label has become one of my favourites over the years as I continue to grow as a listener. Since the more humble beginnings in the mid-2000's, they have remained pretty consistent in quality while vastly widening their roster and quantity of releases. Today, on a quickly changing landscape of dance music, Anjunadeep has carved out a unique identity and an impressive catalog. Most notable is the diversity of sound they offer, acting in such a way to push the boundaries of the genre. 

For my fellow Anjunadeep fans, I hope you enjoy the highlights of what was a great year in music. And for those of you checking this stuff out for the first time, I hope you enjoy the sounds and hear something that catches your ear. Thank you for listening.
