Amthakid is a hip-hop & R&B producer/artist/engineer born and raised in Singapore, he is also a member of a collective called ‘Poncho Group’ formerly known as ‘UGLY BOYS’.
Known for his seamless transitions between lyrics in English and Bahasa Melayu, and forging his own blend of eccentric, auto-tune flavored vocals over dark, atmospheric self- produced beats.
He has performed at various underground shows both in Singapore and Malaysia, steadily gaining a following through heavy-hitting tracks such as ‘Well’ and notably ‘West’, featuring other local artists such as Akited and MEX.Jr. ‘West’ was featured on a top local podcast ‘OKLETSGO’ on the day of its release.
