Yannick Ilunga aka Petite Noir is the Belgian-born, Cape Town-raised and London-dwelling artist behind Noirwave, an African New Wave sound that’s about to be a big deal. This week he steps into the mix for us. Press play on the sounds of Noirwave.

Mingling uptempo juke rhythms, R&B and an unique blend of glitchs, coupled with samples taken from the African culture, the whole still has a modern flavour, showing us, once again, the extent of the duo's influences. On the other hand, English boy <a href="http://soundcloud.com/bobbytank">Bobby Tank</a> took us to a sunnier journey with his henceforth recognizable touch : ireful synths lines along with a restructured sample, these are the qualities of this remix that will fit every future funk amateur's expectations.
