First of all, just wanted to acknowledge that Swardy was at his sister’s wedding in Maine, so he was sorely missed at BM this year :( :( :(

That being said, with this set, I tried to put together the most feel-good, melodic techno songs I could find. Some tracks are favorites from many years ago and some I just found in the past months. Burning Man was truly one of the most beautiful and unique experiences of my life (I realize that everyone says that…I don’t care). 

I do want to acknowledge the lack of M Machine music in this set. Honestly, I’ve never once been able to play a set full of pure melodic techno/house stuff. Always wanted to, but never got the chance till that night. Afterwards a few die-hard M Machine fans came up and told me that they loved the set, even if it was not in any way what they had expected to hear. We were there together experiencing something new, and honestly, that was what made my BM experience so great! There was so much art I’d never imagined before, so much music I’d never heard before and seemingly endless interactions with hilariously unique and awesome people. Thanks to Ego Trip for hosting the party and all who came out that night. Can’t wait to do it all again next year...
