London-based producers and songwriters Jamie Hoddle and Lewis Gregory, AKA Mona Vale, debut on Anjunadeep with impressive three-tracker ‘Pieces Of You EP’. 

The release opens with upbeat groover ‘Pieces Of You’. First featured by Jody Wisternoff and James Grant on their latest flagship label compilation Anjunadeep 13, the infectious disco groove has made the track an instant fan favourite. The EP’s upbeat energy continues with ‘Sunshine’, a house belter that features a vocal sample from The Finishing Touch’s perennially-catchy ‘Sunshine & Promises’. Closing the EP is ‘Place To Hide’, a comparatively laid-back production that rounds the release off on a serene note.

"We feel like we've managed to blend all our influences into this EP, with emotive songwriting and melodies that runs through our sound coupled with a nod to the disco and house records we love to play out in our DJ sets. We're just as much musicians as we are producers so writing a collection of songs that would work both in our live sets as well as in DJ sets was a big focus for us while we were writing the EP.” - Mona Vale

www.soundcloud.com/apressounds has proved himself to be a household name in the club world, releasing on a selection of respected imprints and garnering support from many industry heavyweights over the last few years. Now, the producer offers up his latest cut on Fly Boy Records.

Taking a deeper route than past releases, Après gives us lead track 'Wait'. A delicately progressive club record which takes the listener on a journey through hooky arp lines, well placed percussion and ethereal soundscapes. 

On the flip we have 'Are You Ready'. A warm, emotive track centred around those very lyrics. Here, Après treats us to smooth piano chords, punctuated with drum machine samples and vocal chops. Again showing his flare for a well crafted piece of music, the producer elegantly weaves energetic highs into immersive breakdowns throughout the track.

After a year-long hiatus, Cubicolor proudly announce their newest single ‘Points Beyond’, lifted from their upcoming sophomore album ‘Hardly A Day, Hardly A Night’. Featuring Tim Digby-Bell’s flanged vocals on an arrangement of outboard synthesisers and instrumentation, ‘Points Beyond’ marks an emphatic return for the trio. 

Blurring the organic and electronic divide with their introspective sound, Cubicolor’s 2016 debut album ‘Brainsugar’ saw praise by Mixmag, Spin, and Clash, and garnered support from a host of heavyweight DJs including Pete Tong, Joris Voorn, and Kölsch.  Accumulating over 40M streams, the album solidified the trio as a unique voice in the European underground, a reputation they look to build on with their follow-up LP, out early 2020.
