"Wie schreibst Du Deine Lieder?", werde ich manchmal gefragt. "Ist erst der Text da oder hast Du schon eine Melodie im Kopf?" - "Es ist ganz unterschiedlich", antworte ich dann. "Meistens fügen sich Melodie und Worte einfach so zusammen - es ist in mir drin und muss nur raus." Wie bei meinem neuen Lied, das mir vor zwei Wochen zuflog. "Troubadour in Love".  Heute habe ich auch in deutscher Sprache eingespielt- Alles Liebe, Gert (Video erstellt mit Unterstützung von canva.com)

"How do you write your songs?" I am sometimes asked. "Are the lyrics there first or do you already have a melody in your head?" - "It's very different," I reply. "Most of the time, the melody and words just come together - it's inside me and just has to come out." Like my new song that came to me two weeks ago. "Troubadour in Love". Wie ein verliebter Troubadour

Wenn ich nicht weiß, was ich singen soll,
nehm ich meine Gitarre und spiel so vor mich hin.
Schlage die Saiten an. Akkorde in Moll 
suchen nach Begleitern und nach Sinn - 
in Worten, die irgendwo verborgen sind.

Wenn ich nicht weiß, was ich singen soll,
pfeife ich ein paar Töne so vor mich hin,
fülle ein Glas mit Wein, kaum halbvoll.
Male Szenen, die vergangen sind.
Finde Melodien, ganz tief in mir drin.

Dann tanzen vor meinen Augen die Gedanken,
sie formen sich zu Zeilen, manchmal auch in Reimen,
ich fühle mich wie ein verliebter Troubadour,
ich singe mir nie gehörte Worte vor.
Versuche inne zu halten, Refrain und Strophen zu gestalten.
Versuche Ideen aufzuschreiben.
Manchmal auch zu tanzen.
Bewegung fördert Erinnerung,
mein Herz macht eine Hüpferung.
Versuche Ideen aufzuschreiben.
Manchmal auch zu tanzen.
Bewegung fördert Erinnerung,
bringt den Geist in Schwung.

spiel ich auf meiner Mundharmonika.
Die Zungen vibrieren sanft, nicht zu doll,
eine Melodie entsteht, übers G nach h-moll,
meist sind auch schon Bilder da.

ich fühle mich wie ein verliebter Troubadour,
