Fusion, re-situate, constraints of genre altogether - the mix from Giugno (Thomas Carney) is an oeuvre in progressive space of sonic possibilities. Morphing into a pastiche could be found between the low ebbs and oscillating din as an exemplary of repeating numerous mental arenas and defeat.  Giugno takes a contextural approach of pairing diverse rhythms of myriad functional movements. At the same instant, it allows the listener to let their imagination go bush through guardedly emotional airborne and quivering vistas.  Giving a bright tone throughout - Giugno’s most recent full-length album 'Every Morning, Again' was released on @eastern-nurseries label in March 12 of 2021.

Magdalena K. aka Motiv-a is a New York-based artist. Working in mediums of visual art, sound and live performance since 2009, she comes from a heritage of underground DIY music culture. Motiv-a is driven by the visceral and subversive esoterics of human ritualistic practices and transgressive music. Her live hardware electronics and DJ’ing range from psychedelic, dark-wave, techno, experimental, noise, punk, to industrial, dark ambient and electronic body music.

She has appeared in venues in New York such as Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans-Pecos, Elsewhere to Ohm, Säule & Tresor in Berlin, and event series such as the VSSL party series in Los Angeles, Lost Souls Enterprises and Synthicide in NY. Her productions can be found on Lost Soul Enterprises’ 2017 ‘We Are What You Think We Are’ 3-part vinyl V/A, Jaclyn Kendall’s 2018 Palestinian benefit compilation “Never a Land without People”, and most recently the DKA Records V/A DKA Tape Programme III. Motiv-a is currently recording several solo EPs to be announced.
