O Magnum Mysterium is an a cappella piece performed in a Neo-Renaissance style. The Renaissance style is found in the abundant open fifths, pervasive imitation and lack of breath markings but flavored with modern 7th and 9th chord harmony.

Translation:
O Magnum Mysterium..........O Great Mystery
et admirabile sacramentum..........and wonderful sacramet
ut animalia viderent Dominum natum..........that animals should see the newborn Lord

"An Immigrant's Story" is the first movement of a multi movement work. This piece shows the emotions, relationships, and hardships an immigrant faced in history and still faces today. This first movement shows the excitement and pride of arriving in America. But, it also shows the conflicted feeling of leaving home behind.

This is dedicated to those who risked it all to make a better world.

Hope

I have found that even in the craziest situations life can throw at me, hope is still there. Hope usually isn’t as loud or attention grabbing as the hardship seems but it is there. I have always seen hope as a quiet yet constant thing that is always there lighting my way. Sometimes it is only bright enough to show me my next step, but it is always there.
