Town Square

On to the Next Place is an original song written for a popular music unit elective at my university. This class put me out of my comfort zone as I'm not usually a lyricist, but so worth it. A song for anyone with big changes coming up in their lives and a lot of unknown in the process. Hope you like it!

A new track for November 2022!  This little 5/8 pattern developed in the Australian springtime as the star jasmine in the hedge outside my window started to bloom. Its a background piece with limited melodic complexity. I love that 5/8 timing always makes a song feel like it will keep going forever and this perfectly matched the growth and life happening around me. Happy springtime!
