Singularity

This track is a concept for a game called Sedna in the Sky that I worked on with a group of friends. You are observing a whale, named Sedna, that traverses the sky in a post apocalyptic work while managing resources and your ever-growing population's roles. In order to stay afloat you must keep your population in check, but in order to slay the monsters from below and keep Sedna functioning, you need soldiers and mechanics.

I was going for a neutral tone that eventually conveys the sorrow of the whale. I imagine she's quite lonely, with her fate tied to a sort of parasitic relationship that she has little control over.

This piece is for the lower levels as you lose altitude and move closer to the surface. I imagined this piece to show more emptiness rather than the danger of being low, since by this time your population is bigger and we planned on having more sound effects the further you sink and the more people you have.

MidnightZone

I decided to remake one of my old tracks to put into practice everything I've learned in the past two years.

The original track, Order's Theme, was a concept track for Echoes of Tikkun, a game made by the Video Game Development Association. The goddess of Order is, when you start the game, broken and confused. By solving puzzles you gradually restore her to her former glory, along with her sisters, Grace and Splendor. 

The title stemmed from these thoughts: If enough time passes, a storm will inevitably end. But without the storm to "end", the passage of time would mean nothing. Order is, to me, logical in a serendipitous way rather than a strict way.
