Sleep Apnea (Beach Fossils Cover)

i had to know just what it means to be seen
a face slipping through my dreams but i can never reconvene 
beware the tether to stormy weather blinded beyond the haze
inpatients' (impatience) clinic, recounting days of dmv daze

and i wonder if the rose knows its thorns
get in the habit to lose what's once yours

over-captivated, seeking fleeting beauty in your art
bleeding sensory deprivation , no statute of limitations on the heart
hurricane but it's all in the eye of the beholder 
dope delay never say you're gonna grow old with her

and the sun wont care to know some beams burn
and the plants won't root in the dirt that theyll never grow
not home

when the seasons change
and the nervous pangs
that the earth implies
do you feel alright?

and the scar tissue
that was once imbued
starts to sting in blue
you remember it too

feeling no comply
only you inside
and that blood that's dry
reminds you you're alive
