Sung by the character Richard, who sleeps with a copious amount of women, and organises his philandering by keeping a 'Dirty Diary'. Richard suggests to his brother that he should be doing the same, and offers him a delightful demonstration in the form of this song. Richard is a bit of an arsehole.

Song from 'Much Ado About Hero', an original musical by Lexi Clare and Amy Le Rossignol. This new musical work re-examines Shakespeare’s comedy Much Ado About Nothing from the point of view of Hero, questioning marriage, choice, duty and female friendship. In 'Never Again', Hero reflects on how she has behaved exactly as a sixteenth-century woman is expected to i.e. "never spoke up or voiced an opinion", yet still has ended up being shamed by her community and disowned by her father. As a result, she decides to take matters into her own hands.

Written & composed by Amy Le Rossignol & Harry Style as part of their musical Turning 30. Sung by the character Miranda, who has an argument with her ex-boyfriend Adam about her cocaine addiction and then finds herself with a moment alone to ponder how she deals with it.

Turning 30 is a farcical musical about a dinner party which erupts into chaos. It questions how people define their own and others’ success in their twenties. It’s set on Adam’s 30th birthday, when he’s hosting a dinner party for his closest friends. Being the first to turn 30 in his friendship group, there are a lot of expectations, both for the night and for the next stage of his life. Each of his friends are struggling with a guilty pleasure that has taken over their lives and the evening serves as a testament to how well everyone can keep a secret.

Never Really High – Live (Turning 30)

Composer-lyricist/writer/pianist based in North London. MA Writing Musicals graduate from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Music graduate from the University of Surrey; co-wrote and orchestrated her first musical 'Slaves of the Kingdom' for Edinburgh Festival Fringe during her second year. Has since had compositions performed by the Delta Saxophone Quartet and trumpeter Byron Wallen and had work showcased at Above The Arts Cabaret Club, Pleasance Islington and Diorama Arts Centre. Currently working on three new musicals; these include 'Turning 30' with Harry Style, performed in Leeds in 2016, and 'Much Ado About Hero' with Lexi Clare. The latter played at TheatreN16 in 2017 for the inaugural Maiden Speech Festival, and at Leicester Square Theatre later that year. Co-wrote the music for the new musical 'AsperGirl', performed at Tristan Bates Theatre in November 2019, and works on an annual basis at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with the MA Writing students for their Musical Theatre module.
