Good Night

This is the first time I ever stepped into a recording studio.
1992 was the Centennial year for my hometown, Windsor, Ontario. Donna Murphy wrote and performed an English song, "Come Celebrate" and French song, "Celebrons Le Centenaire" Members of my high school Choir, "The Holy Names Singers" (music directed by Rose Jobin) were the backing singers on the track. I was one of the sopranos. My best friends Cheri Bond, Anna Bayuga & Pierre Bayuga performed on it too among others.  It was produced by Jack Genaro, Engineered by Larry Thompson & at the time, this little kid, now known as Daniel Victor(NeverEnding White Lights) was learning the ropes on producing from his dad. Great memories!

Words can't describe how lucky I am to have been blessed with the love of two mothers. First there is the love of my mom who raised me. Even tho she supports me 100 percent in the pursuit of my dreams, I know she would have loved for me to stay home and move into the house next door. This song is to thank her and my dad for the love they gave me. It carries me through this often heartbreaking career choice I am following. They are the ones that hear the tears on the phone when things aren't going well and I know that when I suffer, they suffer too and for that I am truly sorry. One doesn't think about these things when they choose to follow a career in the arts.  Secondly, I was blessed with the love of a mother who knew that she was not in the position to be able to raise a daughter at the age of 16 and made the courageous decision to give me up for adoption. To both of my mother's, thank you for your love that flows through me.
