For my horny mixtape, I selected tracks that make me feel grounded and in my body—music that makes me shake my hips, snap my fingers and throw my hands up in the air. I wanted to take the listener on a journey of embracing their own sexuality, and to bring them face to face with the thoughts and feelings that they might encounter over that process. Sometimes it feels cheeky and flirty, slinky and slippery, aggressive and throbbing. In the end, I hope it makes you feel excited and empowered, and that you’ll listen to it as a way to celebrate yourself, wherever you are on your journey to self-acceptance <3

Everything Comes Back to You is about the cyclical nature of life; friends and lovers, important places or pieces of music, all entering and exiting your orbit over time. Just when you think someone or something is gone for good, there they are again. 

I started compiling this mix in the spring of last year right after my 30th birthday, recorded it the following summer and have sat with it ever since. It was a very emotional and introspective journey in the throes of my Saturn return, while experiencing a lot of uncomfortable growth. I hope it captures the feeling of not being who you were anymore, and discovering who you will be, but that this "new" version of yourself is actually lost somewhere behind or maybe deep inside you, and it's only a matter of time before it orbits its way back around.

It's been very fun to see the tracks pop up in serendipitous and special ways since selecting them last year, only further proving the thesis of the mix.
