In his debut EP, Paulus consolidates 13 years of experimentation with electronic music in 5 tracks that walk between micro house and minimal techno. Circling the scene of his hometown, Passo Fundo (Brazil), since the beginning of his adolescence, Eduardo Paulus captures samples of all his experiences, producing a mosaic of cutouts. Electronic noises and organic textures mix in an apparently chaotic way, bringing the nomadic and deterritorialized personality of the artist, who has lived in several cities in the country. An attentive listening to the work will reveal complex structures of elements where the rhythmic constructions deserve to be highlighted, always accompanied by melodies that escape the common place. The complete work gives access to his imaginary, singular and fragmented.

Release Paulus

No cliché: Paulus has been on the roll for 13 years ... From nighttime character to multitasker wanderer, his activities fluctuate between writing, making sound, vegan cuisine, selling thrift stores, pool lessons and bicycle customization. The music side was born early, in the avant-garde beginnings of southern Brazil in Passo Fundo, at the Casa Branca club, which was a landmark of the track culture in the state. Before the age of 18 he had played in many places, he was the youngest DJ among veterans, experiencing an intense night school. After this apprenticeship, he decided to study music production and went through numerous phases, up and down Brazil, from São Paulo to Porto Alegre. It was built and unbuilt a few times, however, it never stopped believing in its artistic persona which, wherever it goes, always leaves its simple mark. After a few years of running and maturing, now 26, his luggage guides him with the certainty that a lot is ahead. He continues to create, abusing atmospheres and spheres, recording / capturing his nomadic stroll through the scene and everything connected to the electronic / organic.
