Born and bred in Porto, Portugal, Anabel has always loved music. After 10 years of classical training on the violin, at the age of 15 she decided she wanted to sing professionally. In 2008 Anabel moved to Liverpool, where she completed the Diploma in Song at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, followed by a B.A. Honours Degree in Professional Music Performance at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford (Surrey) in 2011.

Dance also plays a big role in her life, having had dance lessons for many years in Porto (Jazz/Hip Hop/Street Dance), followed by Ballet, Tap and more Jazz lessons whilst at LIPA.  In addition to singing and dancing, Anabel also studied acting at this institution. 

Anabel has been trained in almost every style such as Pop, R&B, Soul, Rock, Jazz and Funk and has performed in front of large audiences in places such as The Royal Albert Hall (London) and 02 Academy Islington (London).
