My alarm system broke that night. The funny/weird thing is that the device is instalated on my room. Yeah like I said "weird". So there was a pichy little (holy moly its was looooud) noise every five or six seconds. I couldn't sleep. So I went downstairs open that book I found when I was cleaning my stuff earlier. And just played it. It is not slow on purpose. I haven't played in years so this is my brain trying to connect my memory to my fingers.

I really liked our conversations. I  liked the way your fingers moved when you played the ukelele. I enjoyed your passion for the beatles, I laughed hard at your unapologetic sense of humour. I kept poking those chubby cheeks of yours thinking how they could even keep up with mines. Oh how you entertained me, boy. For hours and hours. But it wasn't enough. I was angry at myself for it. And I grew unfairly angry at you for making me feel this way. I became so impatient. And I hated it.

The thing of men like you for girls like me. Is that you make us pause. And when someone pauses. When the pretty lights are off. When there's no pop-punk music on the background.
