PIRATE TIME!

Another “pirate” tune.  A different more subdued accordion is used here and is much less heard.  Instead a violin, meant to play like a “fiddle” takes the melody.  Sometimes brass solo instruments take over.  This song is meant to sound somewhat drunk.  I like the melody and will flesh this tune out a bit more.

Epic Pirate Music - Destination Tortuga

An original piece of music I composed after some random inspiration today. Hopefully this conveys some kind of epic sea-faring, pirate-filled craziness. 

From initial tinkerings to the final piece posted on YouTube, it was around 3 hours work. The video includes the original piano sketches I made to start with to give an idea of how the piece evolved from start to finish (other than going from 4/4 to 3/4).
