Oliver Huntemann’s concrete roots can be traced back to early techno. Hadhe been any younger, he would undoubtedly have sucked electronica likemother’s milk from a C64 chip. Like so many of his colleagues, his route totechno took a tour through electro and rave. He could tell the usual veterantales when it comes to influences, his first record purchases, or on the subjectof the good old days. Been there, done that! It was more difficult maintaininga low profile.June 2017 saw the first Senso Sounds Day and Night Open Air draw in thecrowds, a perfect springboard to extend the scope of label and bookingoperations. Both his label Senso Sounds and his Kontrast Artists agencyhave been up and running since 2014.Huntemann the producer and collaborator has racked up remixes for the likesof Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Underworld (the list goes on) and hiswork with Dubfire now spans a good eight years (Elements, Dios, Diablo,Humano).Since 2016, his residency at Watergate has been illuminating Berlin's nightlifequite brilliantly, whilst he continues to play clubs and festivals all over theplanet: from Warung in Brazil and the Rex Club in Paris to BPM Festival inMexico, Strawberry Fields and Let Em Eat Cake in Australia or WoogieWeekend in California.2017 sees the arrival of Oliver Huntemann's 5th album “Propaganda”,traileredby two EPs entitled Rotlicht and Poltergeist. All three releases ripplewith taut techno tunes as only he can deliver. Six long years have passedsince the 4th Huntemann album “Paranoia”, but do not be fooled into thinkinghe was taking a break - on the contrary, he has been busier than ever.That’s how it is in the north, actions count, not appearances!

Die inzwischen 89. Ausgabe der Jeden Tag ein Set Podcastreihe kommt heute vom sympathischen Multi-Talent Anahit Vardanyan. Nach einem Studium am Klavier in ihrer Heimat Armenien wanderte sie 2016 nach Deutschland aus, um sich dem Studium der Komposition und ersten eigenen Musikproduktionen zu widmen. Sie lernt verschiedene Unterstützer und Akteure der Hamburger Technoszene kennen und beginnt als DJ in Clubs und Bars aufzulegen. Anahit übergibt nach ihren Support-Gigs in kleinen und mittleren Clubs, wie z.B. dem Waagenbau oder Fundbereau, stets volle Floors an ihre DJ Kollegen und macht sich mit ihrem oft harten, aber warmen und teils dramatischen Sound einen Namen als überaus vielversprechende Newcomerin. Sie bespielte bereits zahlreiche Festivals wie das Helene Beach, Oldenbora, Antaris Project sowie auch das Deichbrand Festival u.a. mit Charlottte de Witte, Oliver Huntemann und La Fleur. Ihre ersten, großartigen Releases erschienen auf Labels wie Kitchen Recordings, Hydrozoa, Jannowitz und Made In Brussels. 

Für Jeden Tag ein Set gibt’s nun einen frischen Techno Podcast von Anahit Vardanyan, der von Beginn an mit seinem Groove begeistert und mitreist. Viel Spaß damit!
