Modeplex is a DJ and techno producer from south Germany. 
Raised in a musical family, Dave, which is his real name, has always been surrounded by instruments, music and records. 
Therefore in his early twenties, he started organizing events and got in touch with promoters and bookers. 
Modeplex has developed a very personal way to write music, in which different
musical genres and scenes are part of the progress. 
These are the perfect ingredients which give birth to a wholesome kind of techno and deep house.
He takes his inspiration from everyday life experiences, events that have happened in the past or which he anticipates for the future. 
All these emotions are condensed to experiment with different sounds and
recordings. 
This is the reason why he is able to create songs that convey genuine feelings. Each track created by Modeplex has a deep and unique character.  
That's why he applies a vast number of ideas, emotions and algorithms to his creative process. 
Given the fact that there is a lot to learn and that making music together with other artists is more fun, he values the importance of cooperations.

In this episode of the ENDOCAST, I decided to play a 3 hour set of only music released TODAY (February 19, 2021) via TIDAL on the Denon SC6000s.

Sometimes I do sets where I'll skim through all the new songs released on Friday, and then I'll throw those into a TIDAL playlist and play blind for 3 hours. It's an amazing exercise and really makes you work to tell a story out of music you've not heard for maybe only a couple of seconds. Not only that, but it's a great way to really get to feel the vibe of a track by playing it and is a great way to test all of the new music before you buy it. 

I did this set using TIDAL via the Denon SC6000 players, which have TIDAL built-in, so all of the songs are in lossless audio quality (up to 9216 Kbps.)

2021.02.19 - ENDOCAST Episode #13 [New Music Fridays]

Our wulfie Anaiek returns on yet another release, this time with his new project Robot Batson. His rendition of 32nd Degree's "Medicina Adentro" lends his signature creative drum rhythms that give the track a much more tech-y feel, along with long sustained bass tones, beautifully swelling melodic pads, and robotic vocoder FX on the track's tribal vocals. This remix is a fascinating exploration into keeps you hooked from start to finish. A must have, grab this track in addition to the rest of the EP!
