This time, label heads Jacques Renault, Nik Mercer, and James Friedman have teamed up with a pair of artists shrouded in mystery—the Dead Rose Music Company—to put out an EP featuring four songs that confound definition... 


The Four Songs EP is a collection of tracks that aim to be cinematic in their production approach: these are epic mixes meant to stand the test of time, fueled by huge drops, warm, syrupy bass lines, and ear-tickling effects. While the four songs are technically edits, Dead Rose have left their inimitable fingerprints all over them. Each tune has the air and ambiance of a groove you got into at a party, but can't remember fully the morning after; they're visceral and almost dreamy, like the jumbled recollections of last night's disco fading in and out of strobe-lit smoke on the dancefloor.

For years Robosonic have been building a reputation as DJs for murdering dancefloors worldwide – not only playing what they really feel, but also performing their own multidimensional electronic music. Together with the Adana Twins from Hamburg they made a hot new EP on 2DIY4.

The first track is made up of melodic disco and funk inspired tunes and easy basslines which immediately bring you to the vibe of summer. The lovely Vocal adds further feelings of recklessness and freedom which will immediately get you to dance.
The second track „Barracuda“ takes a darker approach with it’s dirty bassline, still combining disco infected vocals and elements in style. It is like turning back time right into the disco- dancefloor of the 70’s!

Robosonic & Adana Twins - La Fique (Original Mix) Preview


Analog Soundsystem formed in 2009 when north west-based duo, Luke Gregson and Ben Barras, orchestrated 
a musical partnership which has seen the production of deep house, tech-house and progressive elements.

It wasn't long after Ben was introduced to his brother-in-law-to-be, Luke, when the pair, who'd previously DJ'd together,
realised they shared an immense passion for creating feel-good music. 

2011 and 'There Will Be' - their first tech-house creation - was released.  It heads up an array of productions which
have been described as "an ever satisfying eclectic blend of soft pad sounds and jacking house beats."

The guys have sparked the interest of several labels, including Made Fresh Daily, and their material is available to download on Beatport.  

Making music is a pleasure for these two - there'll be a stream of constant new releases as they work from their new Blackpool-based studio. Make sure you get caught up in it.
