This acoustic headbanger was recorded one man garage band style singing, playing Stroviols ukulele, and  stomping my feet. I had to overdub the Stroviols violin part because I couldn't afford to be cloned. Crank it up!

A swingy blues song that I wrote about being a middle class white boy with absolutely no reason or ability to sing the blues. 

I Feel Too Good To Sing The Blues Blues  (uke original)

 An early punk inspired song written at a dance in high school during an overly mellow dramatic funk of teenage angst. Although today the song seems very comedic at the time my disparate heartfelt lyrics felt extremely profound.  Still I'm thankful that I captured this fleeting moment of my life that otherwise would've long been forgotten. I recorded it decades later singing, playing my Stroviols ukulele, foot stomping, and overdubbed slapping of an old whiskey keg.

I wrote this song about the really cool guy that lived across the street when I was a kid. recorded with me playing my 1920s Stroviols ukulele and singing. I later overdubbed Stroviols fiddle breaks and  vocal harmonies.

Recorded in one take using natural reverb while stomping, singing, and playing my Stroviols ukulele. To create a slight fuzz effect I slightly loosened the nut connecting the bridge to the aluminum resonator diaphragm.

This song came to me while reading that after Elvis had died he was evaluated and found to have been bipolar.  It seems like it wouldn't have been that useful of a diagnosis to him at that point.

A completely acoustic lo-fi recording of my original psychedelic tune featuring a 1920s Stroviols horn ukulele with a drone accompaniment played on a 2017 Meltone 25 1/2" scale Curly Koa cigar box cello gurdy that I designed, built, and completed with a  head stock that I carved from Hard Maple.

When I recorded my song Regreta I heard it with a complete orchestral backing playing inside my head unfortunately though as you can hear I don't have an orchestra.

Although I'm no musician for years my brain has received little noisy songs that I crudely record no-tech on a small portable recorder. I sing and play my 1920s Stroviols ukulele in one take and later overdub additional harmonies, instruments, and sounds without the use of talent or digital effects.
