I spent over 2 months on this, and I could spend several more months making it better, but this was the deadline.

I'm very happy with how the guitar tone and drums turned out, though, considering I used Superior Drummer 3 for the drums, and a $200 HSS Squier Stratocaster with all digital plugins, no physical gear beyond the interface.

Emulating a real drum performance with Superior Drummer 3 took about a month. There was a crazy amount of tempo changes, and sometimes the nudge function wasn't precise enough.

Vocals could be better, but hey, I'm not Serj, and I had a week to do them.

This is a mashup cover of Mr. Blue Sky by ELO and You Make My Dreams (Come True) by Hall & Oates.

It's not my usual style, but I hadn't found any good versions of this mashup online, and it was too good of an idea not to do.

It was made using Reaper, Superior Drummer 3 (with the Orchestra 1&2 packs,) a $200 HSS Squier Stratocaster (my first ever guitar, I don't know how to play,) a $15 Behringer audio interface,  a Blue Yeti microphone, and 2 garbage cans being hit by a toothbrush.
